Wellness

The Wellness team is here to be holistic guides as students develop the capabilities and capacities to live healthy, balanced, fulfilled lives as individuals and community members. We follow the Center for Wellness and Health Promotion's Wellbeing Framework (pictured below), including relational, emotional, financial, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, vocational, and physical. Any support students might want around these eight wellness areas we are happy to meet (that that do not veer into crisis, when other supports may be more appropriate, e.g., CAMHS). The wellness team also has initiatives within our team:

The Hair Art Project is an Adams House-based initiative that fosters spaces to celebrate textured and natural hair through workshops and other community-building events. Programming is designed to help students learn about hair care as self-care and acquire the skills to create different hairstyles.

They offer a wide range of workshops, services, and classes available to all Harvard community members. Schedule a massage or acupuncture appointment; try one of their exercise, meditation, or yoga classes. There are always new ways to enhance your own wellbeing. See their Wellbeing Framework below:
