Housing Lottery Info

The 2026 Adams Lottery Handbook (PDF) is available here. Please read the handbook for all lottery information and questions that arise.

The housing lottery for senior house will take place on Thursday, April 9th at 3:30pm in the Lower Common Room.

The housing lottery for rising juniors and seniors will take place on April 13th, 14th, and 15th in the Adams Dining Hall!

Free Agents may enter the lottery as singles. If all singles are selected, remaining free agents will be placed over the summer; there are students still deciding if they’ll be abroad or returning next semester, and it’s best if we're able to pair free agents after that is settled. It gives us a larger pool to work with, increasing my capacity to make comfortable matches. If you do find someone you’d like to live with, or have a preference for a particular entry way, please let me know and I’ll add it to your questionnaire.

Rising sophomores will be sent a questionnaire in May and will be assigned suites over the summer.

Please note that some rooms shown on the floor plans are not available in the lottery due to accommodations and pre-placements. The rooms listed in the available rooms list are the ones that may be selected in the lottery. There may be some changes to the list of available rooms leading up to the lottery if certain rooms are needed for accommodations.
