Anastasia Onyango
My name is Anastasia Onyango, and I am so excited to be back in the House! I grew up in West Virginia and now call Georgia my landing pad. I studied Sociology and Spanish at Harvard College (c/o 2022), and some of my fondest memories from undergrad center around Adams House, PBHA, and BlackCAST (Black Community and Student Theater). Before entering Harvard Medical School in 2024, I lived in Nairobi, Kenya where I connected with my grandma, deepened my appreciation for our surroundings, and discovered a broader understanding of holistic health.
Come talk to me about environmental justice, medical humanities, art therapy, and/or public/global health.
And really come talk to me about finding community & belonging as well as staying grateful & mindful while at Harvard.
And selfishly, come talk to me about the best places to thrift, best spots for a DIY food tour, and the best reality TV shows! (I have thoughts, but this is also me requesting suggestions…)
