Leen Al Kassab
Pre-Medical, Race Relations, International
Hello! My name is Leen, and I am originally from Syria and Lebanon-- I grew up in Dubai, and completed high school in Saudi Arabia, before coming to Harvard for college. During my time here I lived in Adams House!! and studied Molecular and Cellular Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy (2018). I was involved with organizations like the Society of Arab Students, the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, the Cambridge Afterschool Program, and the Freshman International Program. I went straight through to medical school and am currently a 5th year at HMS (I took an additional research year), now applying into ObGyn. This is my first year back in Adams and as a resident tutor-- which feels full-circle in many ways! I am super excited to meet you all :)
Feel free to talk to me about anything and everything, especially anything pre-med, extracurriculars, living in the U.S. and adapting as an International student + all things visa, fun to-do's outside the Harvard bubble, and binge-worthy shows!
