Hello hello! My name is Sarah Gonzalez and I'm so excited to be joining the Adams family! I am a second year PhD student in the Classics department. My research focuses on representations of feminine voices and identities in Greek tragedy, as well as the reception of Greek tragic themes/motifs in Latin American visual and performing arts. I'm originally from Tampa, Florida, but found myself in Boston from 2016-2020 for my undergraduate degree at Wellesley College. After a brief foray as an American ex-pat in the UK (where I lived and studied in the OTHER Cambridge), I am thrilled to be back in the Boston area! When I'm not obsessing over Greek tragedy, I can be found listening to Taylor Swift (I'm very much a "Red" era gal), running along the Charles River, throwing afternoon tea parties in the Classics department, and watching films! Can't wait to meet you all!
