Hello!  你好!! السلام عليكم   I'm Naima (pronounced Nye-ee-ma).  I'm a third-year tutor at Adams, and in addition to serving as the H-Entryway tutor with my boyfriend Christopher, I'm also a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Government.  Before starting my Ph.D., I served as a U.S. diplomat in Egypt and China.  I spent my weekdays implementing U.S. foreign policy, my weekends exploring exotic beaches and crowded open-air markets, and a few unexpected days dodging very, very large protests.  I'm American-born, but I spent my childhood in Cairo, Egypt.... I am an education entrepreneur, a newly-minted HBS grad, a third-year Resident Tutor specializing in career advising, and a former Government concentrator from Lowell House.  I am currently writing a book that helps new grads navigate their first jobs and am building a technology platform that helps colleges improve their career services; these initiatives are especially meaningful to me, because I was the first in my family to attend college.  Prior to HBS I worked in management consulting at BCG and in corporate innovation at BCG Digital Ventures.  In college I was a member of Harvard Student Agencies (where I ran HSA Cleaners), the IOP, and the Harvard College Consulting Group.  I have also touched the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors after having worked in investment banking, public policy, and a few non-profit boards....
