Santiago Pardo Sánchez
I was born at 8,660 feet and 358 ppm of CO2. Since then...I moved to the United States; learned English; grew up in Atlanta; concentrated in History at Harvard; fell in love for the first time; was an Adams House Committee Chair; served in the Peace Corps; was evacuated by the US Gov. because of cyclones, an illegitimate chief-making ceremony, volcanic eruptions, moral differences re: reconciliation; fell in love for the last time; dropped my glasses in the Amazon river; most likely violated EASA regulations in the name of the science of the human past; briefly thought I caused the recent pandemic; was a whale census taker; reached enlightenment; concluded that the US lacked state capacity for addressing climate change; went to MIT Sloan for an MBA; the IRA passed; "deploy, deploy, deploy"; the IRA was scalled back; product manager in AI and climate tech. Aún guardo la esperanza that I die at most at 357 ppm, a world that's a little better than the one I started with.
Things I love: whales, Adams House history, photography, watching Frances win races, fighting the climate crisis, and Late Antiquity.
