Hi Adams, my name is Grace, and I am so excited to continue being a part of the Adams family! I am a G4 PhD student in Public Policy at HKS, studying economics - always happy to chat about economics, government, working for the government, or really anything! I was actually born in Boston but moved to Virginia where I've spent the majority of my life - elementary school through college! After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2016, I moved to D.C. to work at a think tank, but before I knew it, I was working at the Council of Economic Advisers in the White House. After a year, I transitioned to working for a UChicago professor doing research on income inequality and poverty in the U.S, and now I am here! Outside of the classroom, I love doing anything outdoors - hiking, camping, biking, running, walking, etc. Right now, I am training for a marathon so if anyone wants to run at a 9 to 9:30 min per mile, let me know! I also love eating, particularly eating with new friends, so please come find me in the dining hall. Can't wait to meet everyone!
