Hi Adams!

My name is Christopher Hopson and I'm a JD-PhD student in the Government Department and the Law School, working on the Pre-Grad, Pre-Law, and Public Service advising teams. I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. I graduated from Harvard College in 2019, and then worked for two years, first as an ethnographic researcher in California and then as a political consultant in DC. I then did a master's degree in politics at Oxford, before returning to Harvard in 2023. My research focuses on American politics, race, and democracy. Outside of academics, I love classical music and sports. If any of that sounds interesting to you, please come chat with me!
