FDR Foundation Update: What's going on with all this Roosevelt programming at Adams House?

Jed Willard directs the the FDR Foundation’s Center for Global Engagement, pursuing solutions to current global challenges while keeping in mind their historical origins. Willard has been honored to work with over a dozen governments, helping them understand prevalent and emerging narratives – the drivers of public opinion and sentiment – and create strategies and structures to succeed. His current efforts focus on climate change, propaganda, the Enlightenment tradition, the Arctic, the Transatlantic Alliance, and cultural and economic diplomacy.

Willard is also Founding Director of the Public Diplomacy Collaborative at Harvard’s Kennedy School, applying social sciences to international communication challenges. Earlier he co-founded LanguageCorps, where he launched sixteen work-abroad programs on four continents. He has also worked in media relations and market analysis.

Willard is a New Orleans native, with a Bachelors in History and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard.
