Germán Orrego
My field of interested include Public Policy, Environmental Exposure Assessment, Environmental Health, Environmental Policy, Risk Analysis, Epidemiology and Demography. My primary focus is on air pollution, and increasing the collection and use of satellite data to predict concentration of particulate matter, with a vision toward how that might inform epidemiological studies.
One of my favorite things in Harvard has been to be a Teacher Assistant for 3 semesters.
Last year I have been honored to serve my classmates as the President of the Student Government of HSPH during its centennial. It has been a way to pay back for all that I have received from my classmates and the school.
I enjoy playing sports as soccer, tennis, squash and volleyball, and of course I follow professional sports watching it on TV!
This year I am the Scholar Resident in Adams House, ready to meet all of you!
