Edison Orrego Vergara
My Name is Edison Orrego, I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. I graduated from Brighton High school in 2009 and I have been in the Hospitality and Dining Services industry for about 10+ years. Beginning my hospitality and management career back in 2007, I was hired by Restaurant Associates at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston—the place where I decided to build my career as a Restaurant Manager. I worked at the MFA for about 7 years, and 5 as a restaurant manager. Restaurant Associates gave me the opportunity to take all the adequate classes, courses and training that made me a successful and professional Restaurant Manager. In 2015 I was promoted by restaurant associates and was offered a Hospitality and management position at Harvard Business School where I worked for two years. In 2017 I was hired by Harvard University Dining Services and I had the honor to join Adams House management team.
The academic year 2017-2018 was a great year. Not only I was able to build great relationships with our students, staff and our great Faculty Deans Judith and Sean but I become a father for the first time of a beautiful baby girl named “LEAH” who is now the little sister of my two other crazy boys, Harry & Charlie (Beagles).
I’m very proud and excited to be part of Team Adams and and be part of the team that are here to serve you, take care of you, and most important to make sure every meal exceeds all of our student’s expectations. YOU, the students, are the most important people on campus and we are happy and proud to serve you and be part of your school careers.
