Join us at Adams House next Saturday, November 14th, to discuss "The Power of Positive Narrative in US Politics and International Relations." (Details here: [http://fdrfoundation.org/tellingourstory.html](https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__fdrfoundation.org_tellingourstory.html&d=CwMDaQ&c=WO-RGvefibhHBZq3fL85hQ&r=t-eegj9AbEkMRulqP0U4jwM9N8M5I88y9u-J3_TYhlI&m=fmLP75efiUxrh-EhgvVzU5dLQ5xlK1qKae7C3VkROxo&s=K4yL9ouI_Ro8gXLrcXEpqSPd_QcEQhd1IhkJ0nrs3M0&e=)). The event launches a programming series, the starting hypothesis of which is that, in the US and Europe, "Lacking strong, shared convictions about what the West is or represents, we’ve allowed others to hijack our narrative, twisting and contorting it to their own purposes, often to the danger and detriment of the United States and its allies."

Speakers at the event include

- Brent Bruen, former White House Global Engagement Director
- David Ensor, former Director of the Voice of America
- Isaac Fitzgerald, editor at BuzzFeed Books and co-founder of Pen & Ink
- Josh Green, Vice President, Digital Strategy at Arnold Worldwide
- David Huebner, former Ambassador to New Zealand
- Brad Jenkins, Executive Producer, Funny Or Die ![tos.jpg](/sites/g/files/omnuum4066/files/styles/hwp_1_1__960x960_scale/public/adamshouse/files/tos.jpg?itok=gMeVFjXa)
