If you have questions about storage after reading all of this page, see Jorge, our Building Manager.
The College will store students' belongings on campus for the summer of 2016 under the following conditions:
-Students who live within 150 miles of the College are not permitted to store.
-Students taking a leave of absence, withdrawing from the College, or graduating may not store any belongings at the College.
-All articles are stored at the student's risk. The University assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. Students are strongly urged not to store items of significant value, or to insure them if they must leave them.
-Each student may store up to six boxes of the approximate size: width = 1', length = 1', height = 2' or equivalent to 12 cubic feet. Oversized articles (such as sofas must be in fairly good condition, lamps, etc.) may be accepted for storage in addition to boxed items if space is available. Volume will be closely monitored.
-No access is permitted to stored belongings until the House opens in the fall.
-All articles not picked up by the last day of Storage will be treated as abandoned property. As such they will be discarded, destroyed, used by the College for its own purposes, or sold for the College's account without any obligation to the student for its disposition or the proceeds thereof.
-A small number of storerooms, used as classrooms by the Registrar, must be cleaned of student belongings by the first day of classes. The Building Managers will clearly notify the affected students of this requirement in the spring before articles are stored.

A few announcements regarding storage.
1) If you are a summer proctor in Adams House and need storage, please put your items in the C music room. This only available to those proctoring in Adams House this summer, and not all students. Please do not put your storage items in this room if you aren’t removing them for summer use, as any items not removed by the required date (specified to summer proctors at a later time) will be removed and discarded.
2) Those who are studying abroad are still eligible to use the summer storage provided by Adams House. However, please put the date that you’ll be returning on your items in very large and bold print so that your items will not be discarded after storage concludes in the fall. If there are not any labels indicating when your items will be retrieved, they will be discarded after storage concludes next fall.
3) Storage envelopes and key return envelopes will be put in your mailboxes by Thursday. Please use the labels and sheets provided to mark, label, and record your storage items in the proper manner instructed by the materials provided. Additionally please use the key return envelopes to turn in your keys (at the building manager’s office) as you depart from Adams House. If you do not return your key, you will be term billed $50.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to stop by the office or email me at this address.
